a lesson from my dad: help others who needed more then us..

my dad once told me, "..even if we are in our difficult times, always try & help others who's in need more then us.." that really went into my head & stuck there..at that point of time i told myself, "hey..that old man really got a point.." he dosent really likes to talk much..only when necessary..

..that message from my dad appeared in my head last night when someone who my umi knows is really having a very rough time in life. she told me that hes sick for some time now..at hospital in need for operation..anyway to cut the story short, his elder sister kicked him out of the house, he lost his wife & son, his sis canceled his last operation which was suppose to be yesterday, his credit card was stolen by his cousin & now hes got no other place to go..only $2 in his wallet to last till friday given by his sis i think..what the heck is he gonna eat with only 2 bucks?? hes a human being for godsake..his whole family treat him like an animal just because hes an ex-con..hearing this story from umi really saddens me..even if he did something so wrong in the past, it dosent give his family the right to treat him that way..definately they have no heart at all..some family huh?..

..so just now in the morning tried calling him but he dint answer the phone..so just messaged him saying that i heard the situation from yam & want to help him..so he replied back saying thank u for my concern & hes ok with it..how is it ok?? sleeping outside & eating left over food from other people & being a begger?? anyway, i tried telling him that i wanna meet him..talk to him & help him or something..at least a bit also can..but he said there's nothing to talk about & can't accept my help..he said 2 more days till he gets to a new place....stubborn....he plead me to respect his decision..an so i did..cant force him..so i told him that im still willing to help whenever he wants it..

..if he had accepted my help, i would go out, find him & bring him here for food & shelter..

..sighh..guess life goes on..hmm..going out later..fetching my larling from skool..think i better go now..don't wanna be late..

.:.may Allah watch over him & protect him from harm..if you're reading this umi, i know you're very upset..but don't worry ayte? although hes having a very rough time in life & very stubborn, respect the decision hes made.:.
